The securities exchange in ALSE is organized in segments and under-segments which organize the trading process based on specific criteria in order to increase efficiency.

Trading in segments is made by grouping the securities based in quantitative and qualitative criteria, whereas the trading in under-segments is carried out based on financial instruments type (securities).
