REGULATORY BODIES

Regulatory bodies of the securities market industry in the Republic of Albania there are Bank of Albania (BoA) and the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (AFSA). BoA is the institution in charge to license, monitor and supervise the secondary tier banks as well as a certain group of non-banking financial institutions. AFSA is an independent public institution accountable to the Albanian Parliament, whose mission is to supervise and regulate the non-banking financial sector in Albania.
