What is securities listing

Listings on a stock exchange consist of securities registrations in the official list of a stock exchange markets in order to quote and trade them.

The individuals interested in selling securities from their portfolios (securities supply) or the individuals that want to invest their free funds (securities demand) should meet one another in a common environment which enables the match between demand and supply.

Nevertheless, the interested parties can buy or sell only securities which are listed in one of ALSE’s market segments in accordance with the listing demands.
