Sessions
Trading Hours
On the designated trading days, the ALSE exchange will enable securities trading sessions from 10:00 to 14:00, covering all trading processes according to the best international standards: pre-trading, trading, closing trading, and post-trading.
-
08:00 – 10:00
Pre-Trading
A 120-minute opening session is held at the start of each Trading Day before continuous trading begins. Order management in the Central Order Book (COB) is possible, but trade execution is not possible.
-
10:00 – 13:45
Main Trading Session
Following the end of the opening session, trading takes place based on the Continuous Trading Method during the main trading phase, in which order management and trade execution are both possible. Every incoming order is immediately checked for possible execution against orders on the other side of the COB.
-
13:45 – 14:00
Closing Trading
With the exception of certain security types designated by ALSE, a 15-minute period is allowed at the end of a Trading Day, during which orders may be entered for execution at the last traded price.
-
After 14:00
Post-Trading
All transactions negotiated and carried out outside the ALSE exchange's official trading session are called Off-Exchange trades. These are reported during official trading days within the schedule set for the off-exchange trading phase (OFF1 and OFF2), or on any other working day during official hours 9:00 – 17:00 with prior notice.
Reporting of off-exchange trades
All transactions negotiated outside the official trading session must be reported:
- during official trading days, within the schedule set for the off-exchange trading phase (OFF1 and OFF2);
- on any other working day during official business hours 9:00 – 17:00, provided the exchange is notified in advance of this report, using officially recognized electronic means (phone and e-mail).
