On 31th of August, 2020, the Board of Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority approved the latest amendments on the ALSE’s rule.
ALSE rule is the most important document regarding the organization of the market and aims its normal functioning. The most important amendments are:
- The necessary regulatory framework, which for the first time, opens the way to trading of corporate bonds issued through private placement;
- Giving access to the media and institutional investors (such as pension funds, investment funds, insurance companies etc.), in the “Observer” status, about the real time information on securities market prices;
- Setting up the Disciplinary Committee as an independent body, with consulting and decision making attributes with the purpose of creating a fairer, transparent and unbiased process for the investors and market participants;
- Modification in the tariffs and commissions structure as incentive to increase the trading volume from the market operators.
